These cards are an intervention tool designed for workers and the women they support. They have been designed to help women share their experiences with abuse.

Description
This deck includes 40 cards:
- 9 ILLUSTRATION cards depict the effects of coercive control on women.
- 12 MANIFESTATION cards describe various coercive control strategies used by the perpetrator.
- 18 IMPACT cards highlight the consequences of coercive control on women and aim to help them recognize how abuse impacts their emotional, psychological, and physical well-being.
- 1 EMPOWERMENT card to facilitate a conversation with women about their recovery process and how to help them regain control over their lives.
The cards can be used separately or together to help women understand their experiences and put them into words. The examples of coercive behaviours and their consequences are not exhaustive.
This tool can be used in individual or group sessions. Suggestions for use are included.
